It’s been a little while since my last update, but I wanted to share an important development. While this isn’t related to YouTube specifically, this petition’s core concern has always been privacy and security - and now it seems Discord is joining the fray.
Discord will soon begin implementing an age verification system similar to YouTube’s, reinforcing that this is not an isolated change, but part of a broader shift across major platforms.
This matters because it highlights exactly why this petition exists. What started as a concern on YouTube - and other platforms - is increasingly becoming a standard approach elsewhere. This raises questions about privacy, transparency, data handling, and user consent.
I’m sharing a link to another petition and a video that covers Discord’s implementation in more detail, because these conversations deserve visibility and cross-platform awareness.

Even after all this time, this petition continues to gain support, and that tells me the concern hasn’t faded. I’ll keep following these developments closely and will continue updating whenever new information comes to light.
Thank you for sticking with this and for continuing to speak up. Persistence matters - and so does staying informed.
