Youth Pledge Against Corruption
The Issue
We are young people from around the world. We believe corruption steals our futures – at our schools, at our workplaces, throughout our lives. We refuse to accept bribery, nepotism and the abuse of power as normal, and we pledge to lead the fight for integrity in our own lives, our communities, and our world.
Through the Youth Pledge Against Corruption, we commit to leading the fight against corruption in our own lives, our communities, and our world.

The Youth Pledge Against Corruption:
We pledge to:
Live with integrity. We will hold ourselves to a high ethical standard, and never offer, demand, facilitate or accept a bribe.
Speak up. We will challenge corruption where we see it, in our schools, our workplaces, and our communities, instead of looking away. When we speak up against corruption, we will do so safely and use responsible channels to report it.
Protect those who tell the truth. We will stand with whistleblowers, journalists and fellow young activists who expose corruption, and support their right to do so safely.
Back the creation of an International Anti-Corruption Court. We will raise awareness about why the world needs a court that prosecutes grand corruption when national courts are unable or unwilling to do so and that recovers and returns illicit assets to serve the public good. We will call on our governments to help create it.
The Coalition for the IACC is an effort led by Integrity Initiatives International (III). This pledge is open for signature by young people everywhere who share these commitments. Regardless of signing, you are welcome to reach out to us to learn more about how to join III’s Youth Leaders Network, a group of young activists, lawyers, speakers, and innovators who are on the frontlines in the battle against corruption in many settings around the world.
