This week we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the birth of Robert Owen (the father of cooperativism), the Welsh Government will be unveiling its new cabinet. We hope in this term they will back Circular Economy Wales's community-focused solutions for our economy www.circulareconomy.wales and will allow social enterprises to bid directly to the Circular Economy fund as opposed to being 2nd and 3rd tier contractors. Social enterprises can make a bigger difference to Wales's quadruple-line aims.

Yr wythnos hon, 250 mlynedd yn ol ganwyd Robert Owen (tad y mudiad cydweithredol) bydd Llywodraeth Cymru yn dadorchuddio ei chabinet newydd. Gobeithiwn yn y tymor hwn y byddant yn cefnogi atebion sy'n canolbwyntio ar y gymuned Economi Gylchol Cymru ar gyfer ein heconomi www.circulareconomy.wales ac y byddant yn caniatáu i fentrau cymdeithasol gynnig yn uniongyrchol i gronfa'r Economi Gylchol yn hytrach na bod yn gontractwyr 2il a 3edd haen. Gall mentrau cymdeithasol wneud gwahaniaeth mwy i nodau llinell pedwarplyg Cymru.
