Dear Protect Fishing Creek Members,
Things are moving fast.
Here is what we know as of now and this all came about the end of last week. Please understand I am still processing this information and have requested a FOIA for documents pertaining to May 12th Zoning Board of Appeals Meeting. Signs where placed on the property at the end of last week and some property owners have received post cards about the meeting.
It appears Langham Branch Company Filed a Writ of Mandamus for Temporary Injuction against the County. Here is the Link

My understanding with limited legal knowledge is Langham Branch Company wanted to be grandfathered in the old zoning rules and heard within 30 days. They were denied being able to use old zoning regulations, but they were granted a meeting within 30 days.
So they will be heard at the next Zoning Board of Appeals meeting on May 12th at 6 pm.
I am in the process of scheduling meetings for our group and will inform the members when these will take place.
But for now plan on attending the May 12th meeting and please pass the word around to your neighbors.
I will do my best to keep you informed as information becomes available.
Stay Vigilant
Laddie Parrish
