CALL for CROWDFUNDING CAMPAIGN to #saveRURBAN

Dear Friends, We have asked you several times to support the #saveRURBAN campaign- either by signing petitions, voting or participating in protest gatherings. We come back to you once again, now to ask you to contribute to the juridical expenses involved in the appeal we made few months ago at the Court de Cassation to contest the first judgement at the Tribunal Administratif, which asked for the dismantling of Agrocite in order to leave space for the temporary car park, as a matter of urgency. In fact this temporary car park has been partially built in the beginning of this year on land which was adjacent to Agrocite and we can see now clearly how poorly it is used (only aprox 50% is occupied daily). This proves once more that this parking (which costs public money) was only a pretext to dismantle Agrocite. Our case in court is now in progress and we expect a resolution at the end of the summer. We have therefore launched a crowdfunding campaign to support the costs of the juridical procedure and pay a high profile loyer (at Conseil d’Etat ) and the penalties incurred from the first litigation procedure at the Tribunal Administratif, which went in favour of the Municipality. These costs are of course difficult to cover for us alone as organization. That’s why all hands and contributions, whatever the amount, will be very welcome.
