UNESCO tarafından dünyanın sayılı biyosfer rezerv alanlarından biri ve Türkiye'nin YEGANE biyosfer rezerv alanı ilan edilmiş olan Yeryüzü Cenneti Macahel'in (diğer adıyla Camili) göbeğine köydeki toplam 7 kadar az sayıda öğretmene lojman adı altında kocaman beton bir APARTMAN dikmişler. Üstelik bu beton yapının kötü malzeme/işçilik nedeniyle yıkılan bir bölümünde öğretmenlerden biri ciddi şekilde yaralandı ve beldeyi terk etmek zorunda kaldı. Başka kazaların da olması işten bile değil!

Güzelim Yeryüzü Cennetinin tam kalbine dikilmiş bu beton yığını hem doğal ortamı bozuyor, hem köylünün günlük yaşantısına zarar veriyor, hem de başka beton yapıların dikilmesi için emsal teşkil ediyor.

Bundan önce Jandarmaya yönelik lojman adı altında beton bir apartman yapılmıştı. Şimdi bu resimdeki, ikincisi yapıldı.

Jandarma, öğretmenler bu cennet beldeye hizmet eden değerli insanlar elbette ve onlara çok müteşekkiriz. Ancak lojmanlar da mimari olarak köydeki diğer evler gibi doğaya uyumlu, alçak katlı ve en azından dış kaplaması ahşaptan olmalı. Bu yapının ortak değerimiz olan biyosfer rezerv alanımızdan derhal kaldırılmasını talep ediyoruz!

Ayrıca, aynı şekilde beton apartman olarak yapılmış jandarma lojmanının da kaldırılarak köydeki diğer yapılara ve mimariye uyumlu, alçak katlı ahşap ev formatında yapılmasını, özellikle UNESCO kayıtlarındaki Türkiye'nin TEK biyosfer rezerv alanının daha sıkı korunması için koruma yasasının bu tür yapılara izin vermeyecek şekilde güncellenmesini talep ediyoruz. Aksi halde Uzungöl, Ayder gibi bir akıbet burayı bekliyor gibi görünüyor ve hep birlikte buna izin vermemeliyiz!

A huge CONCRETE BLOCK was built as an accomodation for just 7 teachers in the heart of Camili, the Only Biosphere Reserve in Turkey as designated by UNESCO in 2005 . Moreover, one of the teachers got seriously injured because part of this concrete structure fell down due to low quality materials and workmanship and the teacher had to leave the town because of this accident and injury. It could be a matter of time before others get injured too!

Before this building, another concrete block had been built as lodging for the Gendarmerie and now they have built this one.

This concrete block which was built in the heart of this "Paradise On Earth" where nature displays all its beauty, both ruins the natural environment and also disrupts the daily life in the village.

Gendarmerie, teachers, of course, are valuable people who serve this Paradise and we are grateful to them. However, the lodgings, like other houses in the village, should be low-rise, in harmony with nature, and at least the outer covering should be wooden.

We ask that this structure be removed from the heart of our UNESCO designated Biosphere Reserve, which is our common value as Earth Citizens. In addition, the gendarmerie lodging, which was also built as a concrete block in the same way and which also disrupts the natural environment, should also be removed and the lodgings should be made in the form of low-rise wooden houses in the village, should be in harmony with the other structures and architecture in the village. We also ask that a new law restricting concrete development in this Biosphere Reserve should be enforced. Otherwise, a fate like Uzungol, Ayder seems to await this place and we must not let it happen!
