Yasutaka Tsutsui, best known for his fiction novel "The Girl Who Leapt Through Time" "Paprika" and the author of "Fugou Keiji" (novel) which was adapted into animated film in the name "The millionaire detective - balance: UNLIMITED" tweeted the tweet that insulting comfort woman statue, a symbol of the victims of Japanese military sexual slavery.
he stated “That girl is cute, Everyone, let’s go and ejaculate in front of her and shower her with semen” After the issue was raised, he said that it was a joke to collect the attention from everyone.
The anime team had bought the license before this tweet, but they still put the author scene in the first episode although they had plenty of time to remove that scene, which explained that anime team has not recognized the author’s action was matter. Despite the comfort women and victims have been suffered in world war two period, The millionaire detective - balance: UNLIMITED are streaming on its channel but the original author and animated team never gave an sincere apology.
We want them to regret on their action and raise awareness of the anime’s supporter and other people about comfort woman. Everyone should know and understand how comfort woman were treated during the war and why we should not support the author who made fun in this issue as well as anime.
Also, please do not support their works as much as possible until the author and animation team give an apology about this issue.
