The fight continues to keep Rushall Reserve as open space and free of an unnecessary and unwanted bicycle path. Would you please consider doing at least one (and maybe more!) of the following as soon as possible: 1. Yarra City Council has released its DRAFT DESIGN for the bicycle path to run through Rushall Reserve. You can go online no later than 20 May at the Council's website and oppose this development altogether (scroll down to start of survey): http://yarraconversation.com.au/rushallreservedesign 2. You can attend the Council's "community information session" (sic) to be held at Rushall Reserve on Saturday 7 May from 10am-12pm to protest against the bicycle path development. 3. You can email City of Yarra Mayor, Cr Roberto Colanzi (at Roberto.Colanzi@yarracity.vic.gov.au) to (a) protest against the development altogether (b) protest against the plan to chop down so many mature native trees to make way for the bicycle path (c) demand that there be a formal "sit-down" community consultation about the published plans rather than only an "information session". Your help is CRITICAL at this time, it really is. Thank you.
