TODAY'S YARCOBR MEETING HELD IN THE CLUBHOUSE 2/27/23

Did anyone have fun at this meeting? Do you want to spend your golden years harping at one another? 
The clubhouse is open again and is getting fixed. We need to move forward. 

I attended today's YARCOBR board meeting in the clubhouse. The meeting went down hill quickly after Sheryl Roth inquired about the most recent mold test. 

Yes, there was airborne mold found in the area near the pool table.The cost of remediation is approximately $4,500. 

That opened pandora's box with the following comments: 

1. How much are we going to pour down this building and perhaps there should be a limit to what we spend on rennovations? 
2. is it safe to be here? 
3. Perhaps we should close the building down 
and lastly my favorite,
4.  We voted for renovation HOWEVER wouldn't it be wise to revisit this decision and change our minds? 

To the above, I answer:   

1. No one knows if the airborne mold found is even harmful, 
2. Mo one here is an expert in mold, 
3. Let's put fear in everyone, even though we don't know the facts
4. This conversation is taking steps backwards since we already held a vote 
5. The sore losers just won't give up .

6 This is Florida, there's mold everywhere

7, If you don't want to come in the clubhouse, don't. but many of us do

8.  The meeting made me sick, not the mold

Along with the renovation of the building, we need to pursue reconciliation. 
We live in the most beautiful place.
