Ahei, Dasandimian. Back again here.

Now We have stumbled upon it this comparison by Jeremy See, about these 2 instruments & which one should you choose. Go check it out.

Now, I shall speak my reaction here. What do I get? Unfortunately confusing!!!

For short, these two, do not replace each other at all. Well of course, you already know that, that's because it's for Genos. Yamaha wouldn't let budget ends eats the superior. Therefore, this is their trick up in their sleeve to cover market needs without being too expensive, it is piece by piece. One demand is covered by DGX-670, and the other PSR-SX series.

What I mean is, if you are pianist, you go to DGX-670. It has this CFX Grand. That's right, no kidding. the all-time ASMR & King of the Piano from Clavinova & Genos, just for the budget. Cons is, it's only that, & had fewer voices. In fact, Yamaha Musicsoft recommends you the XT2 version of the MIDI file you bought there. Well, at least is isn't the even older XA like the last time with DGX-660, mind you. Still, could've been better but again that's their intentional segmentation, which is bad & monopoly-ous (ah help me with the word). Equivallently, for crazy rich, you go to Clavinova CVP-809 or later. This one Yamaha Recommends you G1. Yeah, seriously, I hope it works, because I do not want to hear missing voice when I played the compatible on any Clavinova. What the peck?

Now otherwise, if you are any MIDI Enthusiast, you go to PSR-SX Series. I really recommend the SX900 ones, not the cheap one. coz the cheap one lack everything. Unless you are too budget & too desperate to become render farm (which mean you exclusively use Line out or record to WAV, no regards with the speakers, bluetooth, whatsoever), it's okay. they're essentially sound the same. I hope. This one got enough of voices, Yamaha recommends you the XT3. Yeah, still XT3. not 4. Disappointing. Equivallently, for crazy rich, you go to Genos. Simple as that! No explanation needed, you don't question that here. Only cons is, the keys are not weighted. I mean, no DJ nor keyboardist like weighted keys, they want response, not pianist, something-something. idk. But eh, We're talking about MIDI here.

So yeah. It is really unfortunate, that none of these (DGX-670 & PSR-SX900) will replace the best of the best, for obvious reason. The sale is for Genos & Clavinova CVP-809. Sigh, c'mon. This ain't helpful. No no, Jeremy See, thancc. It's this Yamaha, monopolizing & gating us from the best of best of the best. People, please spread this petition. Yamaha needs to know this!

Thancc for your attention.

And hey, also I've further investigated the rabbit hole of the MIDI here. And I've, spent a lot of money in the process. I uh.. paid over IDR 1 million. Stay tuned.
