We have reached 3000 signatures and still going strong! Thanks for all your support and help in spreading the words. Keep it up! In Shenyang, Wen Kejiang and Mo Zhixu went to look for Liu Xiaobo for a second time, despite warning from the National Security. Activist Wang Li Hong also went to Shenyang. At noon, National Security from Hangzhou, the hometown of Wen Kejian, flew to Shenyang to question him. Soon National Security from Shenyang also joined in the questioning. Friends of Wen soon learnt that he has missed his flight back home. At the moment Wen Kejian is being detained by National Security in a guesthouse in Shenyang, without charge or reason. We are very much concerned about the safety of all Liu Xiaobo supporters in Shenyang and pray that they will stay safe. It also seems that the Chinese government is feeling the heat - and has now decided to allow foreign medical experts to see Liu Xiaobo. See https://au.news.yahoo.com/world/a/36272025/china-invites-foreign-cancer-experts-to-treat-liu-xiaobo/?cmp=st#page1 Let's keep the pressure up and we may well see Liu Xiaobo himself freed eventually! We are also grateful for supporters in Germany in raising the issue of Liu Xiaobo during Xi Jinping's visit to the country and ahead of the G20, though we must say that we are a little bit disappointed that Merkel made no mention of Liu Xiaobo in her meeting with Xi. Let's keep up the pressure on all the leaders of the free countries too, and let the name of Liu Xiaobo be heard at the G20 conference!
