I work at a gas station. Every time someone comes up to the counter with both arms full of snacks and pop, I know what card they’re about to pull out. $40 in the gas station and swiping an EBT card is a regular occurrence, and most times, they’ll buy a carton of cigarettes with their own money. Your kids need meat. Your kids need vegetables. Yet, they blow all of their food stamps in the gas station halfway through the month. I’m not saying take anything away from their EBT. Find a way to limit how much they can spend in convenience stores. Thank you.
