We, a coalition of individuals, and student and staff organisations, are united in our protest to end our universities’ complicity with the ongoing Israeli occupation and genocide of Palestinians in Gaza. We stand in solidarity with the people of Palestine and the student encampments across the globe.

Over the past seven months, we have all been protesting our universities’ ties with Israeli institutions by writing letters and petitions and protesting on campus, but have consistently been ignored or received empty responses. Since May 6th, encampments have started in our campuses across the Netherlands to end our universities’ complicity in the ongoing televised genocide in Gaza. Wageningen joined the global student movement on Wednesday 15th May, by occupying Hadeel's bridge, between Forum and Orion. 

We stand in solidarity with the student encampment. We support their struggle against the genocidal settler-colonial Zionist regime, and call for the WUR Executive Board to comply with the following demands: 

1. DISCLOSE: disclose WUR’s ties with all Israeli institutions and companies, as well as international companies that profit from genocide, apartheid, and the exploitation of the Palestinian people and their land.
2. BOYCOTT: boycott Israeli institutions that participate in genocide, apartheid, and the exploitation of the Palestinian people and their land. This means WUR must end all institutional ties with complicit Israeli institutions.
3. DIVEST: divest from Israeli companies and international companies/funds, that profit from genocide, apartheid, and the exploitation of the Palestinian people and their land.
4. STATEMENT: Release a statement that recognises the Israeli occupation of Palestine, and the genocide in Gaza, demands ceasefire in Gaza. Petition the government to demand a ceasefire in Gaza and cut ties with Israeli institutions and companies, as well as international companies that profit from genocide, apartheid, and the exploitation of the Palestinian people and their land, and cease diplomatic relations with the Israeli state. 
5. SCHOLARSHIPS: Post a statement of solidarity with the Palestinians universities and other education institutions, targeted by the Zionist militia who also murdered professors, academic staff and students. Create a permanent scholarship program for Palestinian students.
