Across the world, millions of people are unknowingly exposed to dangerous chemicals, pesticides, and food additives that have already been banned in other countries due to proven links to cancer, neurological disorders, endocrine disruption, fertility issues, and environmental destruction. While many governments forbid the use of these substances within their own borders, companies are still allowed to export them to nations with weaker regulations—placing profit above human life.

This practice creates a double standard in global health and safety. If a chemical, pesticide, or additive is too dangerous for citizens in one country, it is too dangerous for any human being, anywhere.

 

Petition Statement

We, the undersigned, demand immediate international action to end the unethical export of chemicals, pesticides, and food additives that have been banned in any country due to proven harm to human health, the environment, or ecological systems.

 

We call for:

1. A Global Ban on the Export of Substances Prohibited for Safety Reasons

Any chemical, pesticide, or food additive banned in one country for safety or environmental concerns must not be exported anywhere else in the world.

2. Creation of International Regulations and Treaties

We urge the United Nations, World Health Organization, FAO, and global leaders to establish binding international laws preventing the trade and export of harmful substances.

3. Transparency and Public Right-to-Know

All governments must publish clear, accessible lists of banned substances and disclose any ongoing exports to other nations.

4. Protection for Developing Countries

Nations with fewer resources or weaker regulatory systems must not be used as dumping grounds for dangerous chemicals or additives banned elsewhere.

5. Enforcement and Penalties

Strong legal mechanisms must be created or strengthened to prevent corporations from bypassing restrictions for financial gain.

6. Ethical Global Trade Standards

International commerce should protect human life—not sacrifice it for profit. Ethical responsibility must guide all trade in chemicals and food-related substances.

 

Why This Matters

Human health is not negotiable. Environmental safety is not optional. Every country deserves the same protections, and no population should be exposed to harmful substances simply because regulation is weaker or corporate profit is prioritized.

This petition demands global justice, equal protection for all humans, and the end of toxic double standards.
