#Yulin365 #HopeNotHate
China’s youth population, who largely have not experienced the same type of hardship as their parents and grandparents they also have generally had more exposure to international media and the internet and has accepted and endorsed the concepts of animal welfare.
Aside from working hard to end the Yulin Dog Meat Festival and dog-and-cat meat trade, Chinese animal activists have been successful at:
- Advocating to have some of the laboratory testings for the cosmetics industry scaled back or removed
- Ending the live feeding practice in many Chinese zoos
- Ending live animal performances in Chinese zoos in major cities.
Despite the headway, there is still much to be done.
Because of the young generation, we are hopeful and believe the change that will bring about effective, animal welfare laws and policies will eventually happen and ban the dog and cat meat trade.
It is only a matter of time, and with your support, it will happen sooner than later.
Join the Duo Duo Pack, sign up for our e-News, and stop this cruel dog and cat meat trade together.
Thank you for caring.
