Are we corporate employees or victims of corporate slavery! An ordinary 9-10 hours duty is now a 24hour struggle! Why is work-from-home not restricted to the ordinary corporate timings !? Why are we made to work extra !? Why are we made to contribute more time, effort, stress during a pandemic !? There are constant mails from most organisations demanding more inputs, more zoom calls ultimately resulting in more time drainage! While most employees are stuck in PGs/hostels, with lack of proper internet connection, food facilities and even water(in some areas), they are forced to work for the organisation. In a situation where I’m supposed to video call to my loved ones, I’m zoom calling with my boss and team! Taking advantage of a situation like this to mentally weaken an employee is mere inhumane. Sending promising mails like, ‘we are the best team, we can do this’ and pushing them even further is again leading to mental stress. All of these will eventually throw a person into depression! 
Hence, I am writing this petition in order to request the IT Minister to kindly look into this issue and do the needful. An 8-5 job should remain an 8-5 job! A pandemic should make organisations more empathetic and not opportunistic!
