DID YOU KNOW!: That Banyule Council failed to implement a "Structure Plan" for Rosanna. The impact of no structure plan, means that if Skyrail is the option chosen by LXRA, the elevated Rosanna Station (possibly 15-16m) could then become the precedent in building height. Woolies could then put in a planning application for potentially 8 storeys of residential apartments above their supermarket proposal. (They build in this general format eg Ivanhoe, North Melbourne etc) And... Banyule Council were asked at a council meeting in May (by me), why there was no structure plan and could one be implemented. The answer: Rosanna is not a high enough on the priority list.... Do you think this is what Woolworths was promised?? Attend the LXRA (Level Crossing Removal Authority) meetings at Rosanna Scout Hall Tonight (Thurs) 6pm - 8pm and Saturday 10am - 12pm. Locals that are closest to the site, I urge you to get your views on this heard. A decision on this project is IMMINENT.
