Today I have had a very positive email from our M.P Paul Bristow. He is very supportive and is in communication with the council looking at how this very important asset of our city can be saved. We have arranged a meeting and I am very hopeful that this will be a positive step forward to saving the tree.

No-one is asking for the house to be removed... there is a way that everyone can be satisfied and both the tree and the house can remain. If Peterborough City council will cooperate.

This is what I want to discuss at our meeting. I will post a further update once I hear what Mr Bristow has to say .

The Local paper has reported the fact that Mr Bristow is now involved.

Please see.

All of this said please carry on sharing this, as we need to keep the campaign going until the tree is safe....

Thanks again to all that have signed the petition and to all those that have sent emails and letters to PCC supporting saving the tree. A further update will be posted as soon as possible.

Richard.
