City Council Will Vote on Civic Campus on TUESDAY, 7pm

I was just reading through Item 12 of tomorrow's Woodinville City Council meeting agenda. There are a LOT of details in the recommendations by the City Manager and City Staff to approve the Civic Campus project. The Council is planning to vote at tomorrow's meeting, 7pm, City Hall. Do you recall a few weeks ago I mentioned that the parking stalls in the new parking garage could very well turn into a revenue source for the developer? It is going to be a pay-to-park garage with no maximum charge stipulations. Do you recall that the developer was requesting that the city designate the property "tax exempt" for 8 years? The Council approved the request. But don't worry. The Traffic Study shows that these 260-275 new apartments will have no adverse impact on the streets. How is that even possible? It is a once in a lifetime dream deal for the DEVELOPER. The Woodinville residents will be thrilled with this new luxury apartment complex and bar scene overlooking our ball fields with views of Mount Rainier. The City has other options. This isn't the last opportunity for rehabilitating the school house or recreation center. However, this is your last chance to stand up and tell the Council to vote "NO" on this project is Tuesday, 7pm, Woodinville City Hall.
