Dear Supporter,

Thanks to all who have already submitted a comment on the NCAP proposal. Your efforts and support are jump-starting change! For those who haven't commented, we are asking for your help to demand the Department of Transportation (DOT) and National Highway Transportation Administration (NHTSA) include female crash test dummies in their NCAP 5-Star Safety Rating program. 

Recently, the government proposed new crash testing requirements, but only recommended improvements that benefit men! Women are still being ignored in auto safety tests and are paying the price with an increased risk of injury and death. 

We have an opportunity to change this. Between now and May 9th, NHTSA is asking the public to comment on their new auto safety rules. It's time to let the government know that the public won't stand for gender discrimination in auto safety any longer. 

Leave a comment on the government's NCAP proposal. 

• Step 1: Go to this link and click the green comment box (Submit a Formal Comment) in the upper right-hand corner. 
• Step 2: Leave a comment asking NHTSA to require the equal use of female crash test dummies in all of the same crash tests as men. Download the toolkit here for additional guidance and submission ideas. 
• Step 3: Share with your network, tell people about this issue and ask them to leave a comment, as well.
