Puppy Petition
27 mars 2016
Indi's story is a little different. She was bought from Linton Pet Shop and obviously her new owners had no idea how to care for a collie puppy and she ended up in rescue at 6months old. This is another issue with pet shops selling puppies; homes and owners aren't vetted and are quite often unsuitable for the breed they are taking on. The people that bought Indi had clearly not researched the breed or understood the needs of a collie. These are the words of the lady who adopted Indi. Indi definitely came from Linton but ended up in rescue mainly because the people who bought her had no idea of how to keep a lively, boisterous, highly intelligent collie who demanded a great deal of training and exercise to keep her active brain from being bored. She didn't have any specific issue that I can really remember, she was just a high demanding dog that needed physical and mental stimulation that any normal pet owner would not be able to give her.
