The late front man from Status Quo Rick Parfitt was one of UK's best loved rockers, from touring the world for 50 years to his charity work with The Prince's Trust and Nordoff Robbins.
What better way to pay tribute to the man than having a memorial statue made and having it placed in his hometown of Woking, especially in Woking Park where in July 2017 the 'Party In The Park' festival was renamed 'Rockin' All Over The Park' to pay tribute to Rick Parfitt.

I am asking Woking Borough Council for a notice of motion for the memorial statue and Councillors to discuss proposals at a full council meeting.

If it was agreed then hopefully phase 2 will be to start a fundraising campaign via justgiving.com.
