The company organizing D&D 5e's Japanese localization under GF9 (Hobby Japan) just announced that it is dropping the release of its latest localizations (Rime of the Frost Maiden and Tasha's Cauldron).

Furthermore, Hobby Japan announced that support for D&D 5e will be ongoing only up to June of 2022. This leads most users to believe that D&D 5e in Japanese will be terminated at that time. Many fans are in the dark and unsure about how the future of their beloved hobby will turn out.

We learn this news with great disappointment, and we offer this petition to the following causes:

1. Show our eternal appreciation for Hobby Japan, which supported Japanese releases up until now.

2. Request Wizards of the Coast LCC to include Japanese in their current localization program so that tens of thousands of Japanese users may enjoy the best TTRPG in the world in their own language.

We are already aware of the current expansion of D&D in French, Italian, German and Spanish. Seeing Japanese join the global brand under WotC would be most delightful for us fans.
