Delegate Ruth’s social media statement today:

Good afternoon, homeschool families. I just wanted to let you know that the note from Wendy Bush indicating that I had withdrawn the bill was a bit premature. Many of you know Wendy as the founder of the umbrella The Excelsior Academy and a long-time homeschool leader. Wendy is a dear friend who mentored my son through high school as he was a member of The Excelsior Academy. I've been talking to Wendy about how we might use the incredible energy from the homeschool community that this bill has generated in a way that will benefit the community and bring us together. Wendy has some good ideas that we're working through. We are definitely moving towards withdrawal, but we're not quite there yet. Thank you for your patience. I appreciate all of you and your advocacy.

Keep calling the ways and means committee members! Keep tracking them down on Facebook, Twitter, and email.  She is not hearing us! The above quote from Delegate Ruth leads me to believe that her intentions with HB832 are disingenuous as she will not respect the will of the people.
