Governor Evers extended shutdown of the State of Wisconsin is irresponsible and not based on Science. The number of COVID-19 infections in the State are well below initial predictions and do not constitute a medical emergency that is or will overwhelm Wisconsin hospitals or care providers as people have implented personal protections that mitigate spread without spikes in infection rates. Tony Evers extended shutdown of businesses threatens the livelihoods of state residents and violates citizens rights under both the State and US Constitutions. These violations of civil rights and basic human rights cannot stand. The undersigned call for Tony Evers recall or resignation from office.
