Let’s not forget that there are young men and women like Seandell who spent another holiday season behind bars due to their extreme sentences. Teenagers and young adults should be given the chance to reform, a second chance at life and the opportunity to show us that they can also be a part of our society, teenagers and young adults do make mistakes! But that doesn’t mean we should seek mass incarceration for these young people. There has to be a better way.
