Great News! Key Biscayne-FL ban for Plastic STRAWS APPROVED!!

  Yesterday night, The Village Council approved on second reading the 
ordinance prohibiting plastic straws within the Village of Key Biscayne. An amazing victory for the environment and our community.
As the straw ban is just starting and it may take a while to become enforced, you can help at personal level by not buying straws, purchasing reusable straws for your house, and not asking / refusing straws at restaurants.

 
Now let's bring our awareness for other single use plastic such as bags, packaging, cups, lids, styrofoam and bottles and let's reduce our dependence upon them, is just an habit and we can change it, let's refuse using them by bringing our reusable bags, bottles and becoming more aware about what we consume.

Now please KB- ban the bag !!!
