Oak Bay’s Windsor Park is home to a brand new playground, a daycare, meeting rooms, fields, tennis courts and more. There’s a cafe and a new ice cream shop across the street. 

But there’s a big problem: There’s no crosswalk to access Windsor Park. Instead, park users must navigate busses, cars, trucks, and raised curbs to access Windsor Park.

The municipality believes there's no problem because most park users drive to Windsor Park--but families with kids, strollers, scooters, bikes and dog walkers know this is not true.  Active transportation to green spaces should be encouraged, and safe!
