The city did very little to repair our water damaged, outdated skate park. I am grateful that they did anything at all. I use the word "little" only because I'm comparing it to the state of the art dog park (almost triple the square footage of the skate park, which includes water fountains, shade for the dogs, picnic tables and smooth concrete).
It's great to see the city of Wilson is doing everything they can to keep their k9 culture challenged, occupied, hydrated and cool. I only wish it wasn’t placed directly next to such an eyesore of a skate park! The skaters are untrained and unleashed, and their death machines are a danger to the community. I pray that this new facility provides a safe positive alternative for the puppies of tomorrow.
