Willow's law is a bill to protect families and children from other children in the same home who refuse to go to treatment and are causing violent/threatening behaviors.  Currently Medical practices basically emancipate a teen when they are 16,17 yrs old when MN is not an emancipation state (18) HIPAA does get in the way and does not share medical information with the parents. Places like,  Teen challenge, The Hope House and etc. only accept teens voluntarily. Thus leaving the teen in the home.Child Protective Services advises parents NOT to obtain restraining orders when the minor child is abusive due to having to house the minor child; regardles if other minor children are witnessing the abuse.  This should be a LAW as Domestic Violence is traumatic for children and adults. 

If we can get enough people to sign this, we will be protecting children from homes of abuse from their sibilings and protect mothers and fathers as well.
