Call on Williamson County Sheriff Robert Chody to resign for the disgraceful acts he’s responsible for. Not only was Chody accused of choking an innocent black child to the point of inducing a seizure, but has a track record of misconduct and suspicious scandals. 

From Williamson County Commissioner Terry Cook’s call on Chody to resign: 

“1. Many lawsuits have been filed against his office; several are in active litigation and are being found credible. 

2. There was zero action taken by him against Lt. Deaton when Deaton posted disgusting vignettes of rape of females and the maiming of a black football player online. 

3. The $10M sheriff office training center is under investigation for at least the second time due to very unethical training practices, including the use of racial and sexual epithets, unqualified instructors, and falsified records. 

4. The sheriff invited the television show, LivePD, back into Williamson County after Commissioners Court lawfully voted unanimously to withdraw from the contract with its filming crew, Big Fish Entertainment, and even more importantly, invited them back after the assault of of Mr. Amber in March of 2019 which LivePD did actively film. 

5. And now, we have revealing evidence in the resulting tragic death of Mr. Javier Ambler II.” 

This violent negligence cannot continue, and we must demand that someone with this kind of record is never put in a position of power in our community.
