Due to the increase of people swimming in this area, rather than the south beach, and without any protection of life guards - including families with young children and teenagers -all using the area on a daily basis, we are seeking that Wicklow County Council - Greystones Municipal District - acknowledge The Ladies Cove in Greystones as a designated bathing area and safeguard those enjoying the space through the provision of Lifeguard Services in the area. 

We seek that the Blue Flag designation is extended to include The Cove area in addition.
