Today, Taiwan’s Justice System Took a Life

This morning, just before a court hearing tied to Ko Wen-je’s case, his former Vice Mayor’s wife jumped from the 13th floor and died.

She ended her life under unbearable pressure.

In court, the Vice Mayor broke down and screamed:

“The prosecutor killed her!”

“I’m going to follow her!”

“Why has Taiwan become like this? I didn’t do anything illegal!”

He said he only pled guilty to escape detention — not out of guilt, but because he was threatened and coerced.

This is not justice.

This is mental torture.

This is political terror.

A woman is dead. A man is destroyed.

Taiwan’s history will remember this day when its justice system pushed a family past the edge.

And Dr. Ko remains in detention since August 2024, without a fair trial and without valid evidence.

今天，台灣的不公的司法系統奪走了一條人命

今天早上，就在與柯文哲案件相關的開庭前，他昔日的副市長的妻子從13樓跳樓身亡。

她在無法承受的壓力下選擇了結生命。

在法庭上，副市長情緒崩潰，當場哭喊：

「是檢察官害死她的！」

「我要跟她一起走！」

「台灣怎麼會變成這樣？我根本沒有做違法的事！」

他表示，自己之所以認罪，不是因為有罪，而是因為受到檢察官的威脅與逼迫，只為避免無止盡的羈押。

這不是司法。

這是精神折磨。

這是政治恐怖。

一位女性死亡，一位男性徹底崩潰。

台灣歷史將記住今天！當司法系統把一個家庭推向絕境的那一刻。

而柯文哲自2024年8月起至今仍被羈押，沒有公平審判，沒有確實證據。

還要有多少人被摧毀，執政的民進黨政權才肯收手？世界又要沉默到何時？
