The are trying to take away my friends parental rights because of his disability.

The only way they can do that is neglect and abuse and in this case there has been none. The only reason I had reached out is because his father was going through kidney failure and his son was struggling with what was going on. He's had counciling at school since I have had them in my home but I wanted to get outside counciling for him. Cps is saying we no longer want to help him care for his son. There needs to be better protocols and laws to protect disabled parents and friends that help the disabled parent to parent. He can care for some of his sons needs but there are times when he is to sick to do so and needs the help.
