Trying to make a committee for the campaign has been hard, but now its finally taking shape with a twist. We are happy to announce the 'West Dorset Railway Society'. This group will look after the railways of west Dorset. Featured is saving the Weymouth Tramway, Reopening the Bridport branch due to increasing traffic, and generally caring for the surrounding closed railways (for example, going against house building on the line etc). Being part of the society won't cost anything, but you have to live in Dorset or very near. Any age is accepted, for example the youngest being me at 15 years of age.
