A park where dogs can exercise and play off-leash in a controlled environment under the supervision of their owners.

While the amenities and open space in town are abundant, it would give residents peace of mind if there were such place designed on an already established park to have a fenced in play area to run, off leash! 

currently, Ridgefield and New Canaan are the closest places for having full dog run areas. 

Westport has the space with parks already established, all we are looking to gauge and send to the town is support for funding for a completely fenced in area for dogs to play at a public town park. 

Whether a membership would have to be established, another section blocked off for smaller dogs/puppies, this has been talked about for years and I am ready to commit my time and energy to making this happen.
