Hi Everyone, yesterday (June 9) Dave Evans was removed from his position within the Western Springs Tennis program. Dave has worked there for over 35 years and built the program. He keeps people coming back every summer and works hard to make tennis the most enjoyable sport on earth. The teen coaches and parents held a protest today and met with employee Aleks Briedis. Mr. Briedis did not want to help us bring Dave back, but we know the people who truly know Dave Evans will help us. Please start by signing this petition! Additionally, please email abriedis@wsprings.com. We need people to help the village employees understand how valuable and essential Dave is to the entire WST program. Most importantly, spread the word!! We need be all in to help Dave. He’s changed too many lives for us to give up on him. If you don’t know Dave, know that he has changed my life and helped me love the game of tennis. More importantly, he has taught me that the most efficient way to run a business is with compassion, kindness, and empathy. He was fired on the second day of the tennis season after buying an abundance of equipment to keep the kids safe during this pandemic (hand sanitizer, wipes, etc). PLEASE HELP
