I have been notified by the Oireachtas Petitions committee that the Petition signed by over 26,000 people seeking a greenway on the closed railway from Athenry to Collooney will be considered by the Oireachtas committee on 19th of this month.

I received the following notification:

"Kindly note that your Petition will now be considered at the next public meeting of the committee on Thursday 19 October 2023 due to commence at 1:30pm in CR4 LH2000.

You will be able to view the meeting live online via the Oireachtas website."
