Public consultation on Sligo Greenway please make your voice heard!

Good news in Sligo this week with the launch of the public consultation process about the Sligo Greenway. 

Sligo County Council and Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) are developing ��� ����� ��������.  Public consultation on the study area and constraints is planned from 29 May to 23 June 2023.  Two in-person Public Consultation events will be held at the following locations: 

Public Consultation Event 1: Tuesday 06 June 2023, 14.00-20.00hrs Teach Laighne, Humbert Street, Tobercurry, F91 Y328, Co. Sligo. 

Public Consultation Event 2: Wednesday 07 June 2023, 14.00-20.00hrs Teeling Centre, Rathrippon, Collooney, F91 P68C, Co. Sligo.

Please go to the consultation page and express your support so we can silence the naysayers, there is still opposition to the Sligo Greenway in some quarters, we need to make sure the public consultation is dominated by those who support the project so get in there and make your comments!

 Also!!! – We are asking for more signatures on the campaign to get the Abbey Theatre to have midweek matinees for us folk who simply cannot afford Dublin hotel prices and want to go to the theatre in Dublin, so if you support this idea please go sign this one too!
