SF have put up a survey about rural ireland but strangely they have not mentioned what greenways can do for small towns or villages they pass through so why not let them know the Western Rail Trail from Sligo to Athenry  will be of great benefit to Rural East Mayo and East Galway and ask them to start supporting what the people want to see happen in East mayo and East Galway, go to the link and fill in the blanks about the Western Rail Trail from Sligo to Athenry  You never know they might listen!  In the survey in the sections asking for your opinion simply say:  Put a greenway on the closed railway from Sligo to Athenry to rejuvenate the economy, of the small towns and villages along the route, this is what  the people want to see.///////
