We are asking all our supporters in Galway East to support Greenway supporting candidates and outgoing TDs Ciaran Cannon and Anne Rabbbitte who both supported the Quiet Man Greenway project.

Please be careful of not transferring your vote to Anti Greenway candidate Sean Canney who has done as much as he can to try and stop the Greenway from happening.

Sinn Fein unfortunately do not support the idea of the greenway on the closed railway, please if you do vote Sinn Fein please make sure your vote if it transfers does not fall to Sean Canney, the anti Quiet Man Greenway outgoing TD.

There are two strong candidates from the main parties FG and FF from the Tuam area, Pete Roche and Donagh Killilea, please try not to transfer your vote to Sean Canney if you vote for these two greenway supporting candidates.

Finally a mention again for Ciaran Cannon the outgoing FG TD who as a Minister did all he could to bring pressure on the government to act on our behalf.  Ciaran did amazing work for the Western Rail Trail and the Quiet Man Greenway project.  Please give him as high a preference as possible, outside party loyalties we owe a huge debt of gratitude to Ciaran Cannon for fighting our corner.
