Whilst we are actively promoting a greenway on the closed railway, as a campaign group we believe in public transport and supporting our existing rail services and seek to improve what we have. We have just started another change petition asking why there are no late night trains from Dublin to the Provinces. Why isn't there a late night service even to the near Dublin urban centres like Mullingar, Longford and Athlone; never mind a late night train to Cork, Limerick, Galway and Sligo. It is probably all to do with rostering and the unions. But lets ask the question.
