Help Us Fight To Protect Samson
The Issue
Samson Woodward is my friend's Autistic brother, he at 40 years old has never been taught to dial a phone number, he is incapable of calling for help himself So he needs us to do it for him. We truly believe him to be in immanent danger especially since he reported his abusers & the abuse he has had to endure at their hands, to a North Carolina Court. He has been questioned multiple times by authorities and court appointed specialists and North Carolina found all of Samson's allegations to be factual and were in the process of changing his guardianship over to his sister. North Carolina also gave a document which I will attach to this stating his abusers should have no contact at all with Samson. Me, his sister, and many others have called WV APS and reported and shown the documentation from North Carolina yet they have failed to do anything to step in and remove Samson from these people. We've offered them the same proof that NC had for their determination of abuse which is a Voicemail Recording on the sister's phone of the abusers laughing and discussing some of the abuse they have put Samson through. On August 31st 2020 North Carolina deemed Samson to be Lack of Capacity on several things which are as follows: Nutrition, health care, personal safety, employment, independent living, civil, financial, and he cannot resist attempts at financial exploitation or protect himself... this will all be attached for you all to read from a document from the court assessment. Samson wishes to live in North Carolina with his sister Ann Weller, I've had many conversations with Ann and she would love him to live with her but she simply wants him safe, even if that means WV puts him in a care facility until she can finalize the court proceedings to gain guardianship of Samson.
West Virginia has filed NO CHARGES at all towards these people who are supposed to love and care for this man, those abusers are his family members, the very people who are meant to protect him, he has lived with this mental, physical, and sexual abuse for most of his life... We want him to have a better, loving and happy future that he deserves. Ann feels extremely guilty because she promised him no one would hurt him again, yet a court document was released to the abusers with Ann's address on it and on September 5th of 2020: some of the residents noticed that there was two men in the Woodline sitting in lawn chairs, they had never seen these men before, they went to the office to complain about it in the meantime Samson was coming out of the bathroom, when a car pulled right up to him said something to manipulate him to getting in the car. they then proceeded to stick him in a car and be drove back to West Virginia where he does not want to be with the person who has been sexually abusing Samson. Yet WV APS doesn't consider that kidnapping because Samson isn't a child but by North Carolinas findings mentally Samson is a child and needs to be protected as such. But it absolutely is considered an abduction when you take someone against their will to a state and place he himself has said he don't want to be in.
Samson needs Your Voices to be as loud as they can be to get him away from this immanent danger. When they abducted him they didn't even care to grab his medicine that he needs regular daily regiments of to treat his epilepsy. It breaks my heart knowing what he could be going through, in one of Samson's recordings he explains that: "one of his abusers used a "zapper' on him that hurt his heart and made him feel like he was going to die"
On one of the recorded voicemails from the abusers arguing discussing the abuse to Samson, they admit using a Taser on him which Samson calls the Taser a "zapper" because he associates it with the sound it makes.
I truly don't understand how anyone working for APS couldn't see that as cause for removal, and I surely don't understand how they haven't stepped in and removed him with the court legal binding documents from NC stating these people have no contact with Samson.
So I am asking you for your signatures to help us Free Samson from this Abusive life and we can get him back on track for a better, brighter future full of love and happiness and the education he hasn't been given.
