Hello everyone, I just want to say, thank you again, to you, for following what’s going on with our nightmare… I have to get out of my system, first, exactly how me and my family feel, about what YOU have done for us, so far, throughout this difficult journey. Without your support, we certainly wouldn’t get Dad and I’s voices heard. 130,000 people now (including YOU) who’ve got something to say in our defence and in support of what we believe is right (i.e. That Dad and Ivy SHOULD stay together), is a mega-force to be reckoned with… Two people, me and Dad, are nothing in this, without YOU! The memory of you supporting us throughout all of this, is something that will stay with me until the day I die. From the very bottom of my heart, thank you! If you didn’t have chance to read yesterday’s update, you can get a full update, on what happened in the last twenty-four hours, on the Daily Mirror website - here http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/120000-sign-petition-police-dog-9926977. Here’s what happened in the last FEW hours… So, so, so many of you today (including some celebrities) have contacted our Police & Crime Commissioner, John Campion, (who is Dad’s boss) to see if he could intervene in some way. I was absolutely overwhelmed when I saw how many of you were helping by showing your support for us on his Facebook page. I was delighted, and then disgusted very shortly afterwards, when *somebody* from John Campion’s office, decided that the public (being you and me) shouldn’t feel the need to bother him and so all OUR comments, were *deleted* from his Facebook page… However, we can still contact BOTH of Dad’s bosses…. We think we should give it one last ditch attempt, one final plea for help to Chief Constable Anthony Bangham and John Campion (Dad’s bosses), to have a heart and see if they would meet with Dad, one last time, to discuss *again* the possibility of Dad covering the costs of buying a new police dog, to replace Ivy, so that they, DON’T get separated (which is now due to happen, in the next few days). If YOU think that might work, and obviously if you have a minute to spare, you can ask them on this Facebook page instead - https://www.facebook.com/westmerciapolice or twitter https://twitter.com/wmerciapolice. The only positive thing, that has come out of today, is that so many celebrities are joining us. Angie Best (pictured above), model and fitness guru to the stars, is now spreading the word, and Dean Wiltshire, Channel 5’s TV Paramedic also sent an email for us to Dad’s bosses today… Plus, TV journalist Kelly Rose Bradford, the actress Lizzie Roper from Hollyoaks and Boy Meets Girl, and Phillipa Tomson, the award-winning presenter and reporter from ITV's Good Morning Britain. THANK YOU SO MUCH, TO YOU ALL! Finally, we’ve been trying, since last week, to contact Amber Rudd MP, the Home Secretary. She really could help us, because she has the power to make changes within the police service! We’ve had no reply from her yet. So, to try to get her attention, can you ask her to help us, please!? Here’s her Facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/amberruddmp or twitter - https://twitter.com/AmberRudd_MP. I’ll let you all know, in my next update, whether Dad’s bosses agree to meet with him to discuss the issue *one last time*. I’ll also let you know as soon as Amber Rudd, Home Secretary, replies to us, if she does, that is! We're already preparing to take this to Parliament for a debate, which we can do now that we have 100,000 signatures...So if all else fails, we're not going to bother with Dad's bosses again, if they don't do anything to help us before this Wednesday, 1st March, we're going straight to Westminster.... Just before I go, THANK YOU, again! With love, Jennie, Dad & Ivy xxx
