I am calling on the Board of Directors at West Ham United FC to name the East Stand at the London Stadium after Billy Bonds. It's time to give Bill the recognition he so thoroughly deserves NOW and not leave it too late, as they did with Bobby Moore.

Billy Bonds MBE (Born 17th September 1946) is a West Ham Legend. He spent 27 years at the club as Player and Manager. His playing career lasted an incredible 21 years at West Ham and in that time he made 799 first team appearances. Voted Hammer of the Year 4 times and runner-up 3 times, he is the only West Ham Captain to lift the FA Cup twice. Sir Trevor Brooking describes Bonds as the 'Greatest West Ham player of all time'.
