Dear petition supporters:

Today I mailed a letter to our Parish President to make him aware of this petition. In an article published by the West Side Journal on 6/8/20, it was noted that he "had not received any calls on the matter." For this reason, I sent a letter to him on 6/29/30 to advise him of our petition to leave the statue in its current location. I sent similar letters to Mayor Richard Lee and the 5 City Council members.

In my opinion, physical letters demonstrate that we are serious about our petition and our opinion that the history of our great Parish should not be ignored.
