I am certain that YOU are the reason why Wells Fargo listened to our petition!! THANK YOU!!! I sent the petition along with all of your comments and signatures, and my personal letter to Wells Fargo's Executive Corporate office in California. I sent it to 12 individuals in that office. A Wells Fargo 'Research and Remediation Manager' from the 'Research and Correspondence Department's 'Loss & Recovery Operations' (LRO)and 'Risk Operations Fraud' (ROFPS) / 'Loss Management Controls Group' (LMCG) responded within 24 hours, saying my letter and the petition was sent to his department for 'handling'. He stated, "we wanted to assure you we are reviewing this matter and we will contact the account owner directly." Shortly thereafter, Angel was able to gain online access to her checking account once again. However, she is still not able to use her debit card yet. We can not begin to tell you how grateful we are to all of you who signed this petition. With deepest gratitude, we say THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts!! Your signatures and comments most certainly MADE ALL THE DIFFERENCE in our letter being heard and taken seriously! It has been exhausting for David, Angel and myself dealing with Wells Fargo these past few weeks. But thanks to God, and thanks to your help, Wells Fargo met us half way by allowing Angel to regain 'online' access to her account in time for her to be able to get the necessary funds into the correct hands. They were able to pay for the surgery just in time! Thanks to God! Angel is still not able to use her WF debit card to get cash or make purchases. (This is what I meant when I said Wells Fargo met us half way). However, thanks to a wonderful Christian family in Norway, they were given gracious hospitality of food and a place to sleep for ALL of last week. Thank you dear Toby, Sara and family! You are angels from heaven! God bless you! David was able to borrow just enough extra to cover their travel expenses to and from Norway, and enough to pay for a few more days for food and hostel after they returned to Spain earlier this week. Yesterday a dear Christian woman in the Barcelona, Spain area opened her small home to David and Angel for their final two weeks of this trip. Thank you dear sister!! God bless you!! TODAY IS THE DAY! Today David made it through the long awaited surgical procedure with success! Praise God! This is an answer to many prayers! This isn't the end, however, it will take a full 6 months for the stem cells to completely grow and end his painful suffering. Please continue to pray for David's complete healing. We are eternally grateful for your love and prayers! David must take great care to rest his body for the first several months in order to allow the stem cells to continue to grow correctly. If he isn't careful and doesn't rest as prescribed, the procedure will not be a success and all of this will be in vain. Many of you who know David likely realize that 'resting' the most difficult thing for David to do. He is now over $40,000 in debt from the money he had to borrow to pay for this surgical procedure and all costs involved, and he still needs to eat and pay his basic living expenses while he is in this resting period so the stem cell cultures can continue to grow. So 'resting' will be the most difficult part for David. How you can HELP David.... David will soon be creating a GoFundMe account. All of the money that was used to pay for this surgery was borrowed money, mostly from Wells Fargo through a 3rd party. David needs help. He cant do any work for 3+ months, and wont be able to do 'normal' work until he is fully healed, in 6 months. As most of you who know David well realize, he has sacrificed a great percentage of these past 15 years to helping many poor people in other countries for free, as well as helping many of you often for free or asking very little for his hard work. He is known for using what little money he has earned to purchase materials or tools needed to help those in need from poor countries. PLEASE SEARCH YOUR HEARTS and consider giving a donation to help David so that he can finish what has been started and heal in full. Helping David at this time will not just help him pay this medical debt, but more importantly will help him to be able to pay for his basic living expenses, such as monthly utility bills and food during the next several months.
