We (the Kimetsu no Yaiba fan-base) disagreed with events, that happened in 179 chapter. We urge you rewrite this chapter, because:

1. We want good Genya's character development. We also don’t want his story to be ended. In fact, his development is simply interrupted without completing it. We still want to watch for this character; he still has space to grow in the literal and figurative sense.

2. The conflict of the Shinazugawa brothers isn’t ended. Their story is too long and complicated and you can’t end it like this.

3. In the last chapters, for the first time we see Genya able to be on the same level with other hunters. Also we can see his real strengths. You must give him a chance to show himself better.

4. His death was too long, a lot pf fans thought that he would survive because of his ability as a demon-eater. The chapter has disappointed and shocked us. However he couldn't regenerate as a demon, but he died like that. This is unfair.

5. Selected children are 5 organs of sense, where Genya takes the place of "taste". A lot of us expected to see the final battle where they complement each other through these features a battle where all five children would work as a one team. As a result, 4 out of 5 children survived. Can we ask to leave Genya alive for this interaction of all "five"? Probably yes, because attributing these qualities to the characters from the very beginning has no any sense now. 

Genya's death certainly exists for the sake of a dramatic plot with Sanemi and this is not right for the reasons described above. Moreover, we at least deserve a little happiness in this fandom.
