Crematorium and Houses in Horam

Just to say a big thank you to all of you who have signed this petition. The planning application for the crematorium at Horeham Flat Farm and possibly Rosemead Farm will appear on the agenda for Wealden Planning South Committee to decide whether to approve or reject on Thursday 8th December at the WDC offices in Vicarage Close Hailsham at 10am. If you have not yet commented on the applications on the council website - please do so if you have the time and share the link with anyone who will be interested. The plans on line are very illustrative. The petition will be sent to the Wealden planning officer and Nusrat Ghani tomorrow and the last date for comments on the Crematorium application is this Friday - 25th Nov. If these applications are approved- there is no going back. These areas of farm land and countryside will be lost- the traffic will increase and we will all have to live with it. There is a need for truly affordable housing nationwide and Wealden say a crematorium- but surely there must be a more suitable location.
