The Librarians: The Next Chapter TV show still has stories to tell—and fans around the world want these stories!
With Season Two of The Librarians: The Next Chapter complete, we’re asking Electric Entertainment, TNT/Warner Bros. Discovery, and other potential streaming partners to give the series a third season and a stable home for the future.
The show celebrates curiosity, imagination, history, friendship, courage, and the power of knowledge. Through fantasy, adventure, humor, action, and found family, it reminds us books and reading matter, learning can be an adventure, and libraries help people discover new worlds—and their own possibilities.
The franchise has built a loyal international audience ready to follow it wherever it goes. If TNT is not the right home, we encourage Electric Entertainment to explore every option, including Prime Video, Paramount+, or another partner willing to support the series long term.
Prime Video’s revival of The Expanse showed that passionate fans can help give a series new life. We are prepared to follow The Librarians to a new home base, too.

Reasons we want The Librarians to tell more stories:
One: we love libraries, we love books, and we love to read. We love stories that involve books, libraries, knowledge, and history as critical elements and idea starters.
Two: we like seeing adults on television having adventures, going places, learning things, solving problems that don't involve serial killers and other makers of mayhem, and using their brains.
Three: we like intelligent television. The Librarians live and die by the depth and breadth of their knowledge and courage. Intelligence is useful. Curiosity is a vanguard. We like television shows that mirror all this back to us.
Four: The franchise has a nearly inexhaustible story engine. The Librarians can draw stories from all of human history, mythology, literature, art, science, and folklore. New Librarians can eventually join the mission, but the Library and its purpose can remain. Properly developed and cared for, this franchise could continue telling its intelligent, imaginative stories for decades. We want to see and hear those stories!
Five: We want to know more about the main characters. We want to know more about who these people were before they became Librarians, why they love learning and who they are becoming.We also want to know more about what happened to the original Librarians, Guardians, and Jenkins!
